Why This Card?: Something about Kubel intrigues me. I think he should be a 25 homer guy and bat around 0.275. He is right in the beginning stages of his prime years so if it doesn’t happen this year or next, I don’t think it’s going to happen.  The problem with the Twins is they have too many decent outfielders.  It is tough to excel when you are going up against Delmon Young, Michael Cuddyer, Carlos Gomez, and Craig Munroe.  But he is getting his at bats, even though it’s mostly as a DH.  Another interesting thing about this card is that I’ve seen several of these on eBay and all of them look like the ink has dispersed into the ball material.  I wonder what kind of pen he used.  Remind me never to use that kind of pen.

How would I Feel If I Got This as My Primary Autograph in the Box: I would cry because I paid so much for the box and this is just not what you are hooping to find after blowing $80 – $100 on a box.  I have gone into detail what the box breakdown was for this product.  Could you imagine that this was your “Big Hit”?  How pissed would you be?  Would you ever buy another box of Sweet Spot? Answers: It would suck, Very pissed, and probably because I’m a sucker!

Will it ever gain value?: Personally, I do think it will.  I think he has way too much talent and just mashes the ball (he hit a homer last night).  He is a solid power hitter and he should start to shine soon.
