Card Background: Back in 2002 I was also doing some TTM requests. I did it mainly with the minor leaguers and really just first rounders. Joe Mauer was one of the first cards I sent out and one of the last cards I got back. This card was actually sent back almost 3 months after it was sent out. The funny thing was I was iffy on sending this out since he seemed more of a one tool player. I am however happy that I did send it out since, I don’t think I will ever be able to afford his autograph now. I found a bunch of these cards and I will be putting them up on the site over the next few weeks. You’ll be surprised by who else I got signatures of back then. You will also laugh at some of the signatures I went after. Maybe even be pissed about players who I got that never made it **Cough** **John Ford Griffin** **Cough**. Anyways I hope you enjoy some of these treasures I have found.

Look at his minor league stats though, he really was a one dimensional player.
