Why go after this autograph: When I was going through the list of player signings, I saw Shooter’s stats and my jaw dropped. Sure he only has had 4 starts but holy cow has he done well. So far this season he is 0-0/0.49/0.53 in 4 career starts. He has struck out 34 in 19 innings, opponents are hitting just 0.066 off him. Hey I know it’s just 4 starts, but sometimes you can something special and I think he might be someone special. He was drafted in the June 2008 draft 31st overall by the Twins, he was the first pick in the supplemental round. He was an amazing pitcher at Tulane where he went 9-4 with a 2.68 ERA with 126 strikeouts in 100.2 innings pitched. He was even a candidate for the Golden Spikes award last year. Keep your eye out on him. I think we are looking at a very special pitcher here.
