Free Autograph Signing Update – Week of 7/28/08

This one is sgoing to be pretty impressive as far as who is signing this week. I find that most of them are in California and the North East. It’s really unfair for the rest of us, but that might change once the season is over and these guys go to their hometowns.  Here is this week’s list of free signings.

7/28/08

• Ron Guidry – Yankees – 6pm – 7pm – Frontier Stadium – Rochester, NY – Free with admission to Redwings game.

7/29/08

• Davey Johnson – Mets – 2:30pm – ? – Schott Stadium – Santa Clara, CA – Free US Olympic team practice and signing.
• US Olympic Baseball Team – 2:30pm – ? Schott Stadium – Santa Clara, CA
• Matt Luke – Dodgers – 6pm – ? – Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA – Free during batting practice.
• Mike Zagurski – Phillies – 7pm – ? – First Energy Park – Lakewood, NJ – Free with admission
• Ron Guidry – Yankees – 7:30-8:15pm – Alliance Bank Stadium – Syracuse, NY – Free to season ticket holders

7/30/08

• Kenny Landreaux – Dodgers – 6pm – ? – Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA – Free during batting practice.
• Fergie Jenkins – Cubs – 5pm – ? – The National – Donald E Stevens Convention Center – Rosemont, IL
• Milt Pappas – Orioles – 5:15pm – ? – The National – Donald E Stevens Convention Center – Rosemont, IL

7/31/08

• Al Downing – Dodgers – 6pm – ? – Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA – Free during batting practice.

8/1/08

• Lee Lacy – Dodgers – 6pm – ? – Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA – Free during batting practice.
• Matt Nokes – Tigers – 6pm – 7pm – Scottish Rite Center – 1895 Camino del Rio South – San Diego, CA – you can send the promoter your stuff to have it signed but you must contact the promoter at  monty@cjsportscards.com or call at 619-229-2505, the item must be received by 7/31/08 fee is $10.
• US Olympic Baseball Team – USA Baseball Training Center – Cary, NC – game is at 7:05pm, hanging out before or after the game should yield some nice autographs.
