Why go after this autograph: What a fantastic season he is having. A year removed from being a closer for the Cubs, he was inserted into the rotation to make room for Kerry Wood as a closer and the gamble paid off big time. So far this year he is 16-6/3.02/1.22 and has struck out 182 batters. He has gone from a throw away starter to front line closer to dead arm closer back to front of the rotation starter in his career. I don’t know if he is going to repeat next year but he has had himself an incredible season. The fact he got this back to me so quickly just has me so impressed.
