Age: Moskos is currently 22 years old and McCutchen is 21 years old.
Best Season: Moskos was this past season where he went 7-7/5.95/1.51 for A+ Lynchburg. McCutchen’s best season was in 2006 where he split time between A Hickory and AA Altoona going 0.294/17/74/23.

Why this Card?: If this was a card from Topps or Upper Deck it would be selling for close to $50. Moskos is a former first round draft pick, and although he did pitch in 2007, he never started so essentially this was his first full season in the minors. Even though he is 22 he went up against some stiff competition in the hitter heavy Carolina league. While his numbers are unimpressive, he did pitch well in the stretch which leads me to believe that he will be able to turn the corner, next season will be a big one for him though. As for McCutchen, he was listed as an uber prospect by the minor league baseball website (top 50) in 2007. He had a hard time in AAA this season and after the Jason Bay and Xavier Nady trades, I expected him to be called up for the remainder of the season. The fact they didn’t call him up, leads me to believe that he needs to refine his game more in the minors. If he busts out of the gate hot next season, expect him in the bigs where he should evolve into a 0.285/20/75/20 guy consistently.
But What About the Set?: It doesn’t come from a set, instead, take a look at the autograph card store ebay site. You will find autographed cards of tons of prospects. Again, if you are looking for inexpensive autographs of top prospects, this is the site for you, most of their autographed cards run from $2-$5 and you could get some nice players there like the two listed above.
