Why go after this autograph: This one is so sweet, I sent this out thinking, no way am I getting this one back. However I went with the motto nothing ventured nothing gained. I guess I just got it to him at the right time. He had an amazing season last year going 0.304/32/130 and may actually be one of the best comeback stories of all time. Around this part of the world he is in legend status since he played his baseball in the Raleigh – Durham area. He fell on hard times shortly after being drafted but worked his life out and I would say he might very well be one of the most prolific hitters in the American League right now. All I can say is wait until Spring Training and get him before he explodes for another amazing season.
Any Current Certified Autographs Available: Plenty of his, below I have a few I found while searching on eBay. They run right around the $20 mark on average on ebay depending on the card and the limited nature of the release.
Nice, I read on one of the autograph forums that several people have recently been getting returns from Hamilton. Almost all of these people sent him request to spring training this past season. I got his autograph in person after an A’s game this past season. He was really nice about staying and signing for anybody and everybody. They turned the lights out on the field and the ground crew were not even out there anymore. When he was done he looked around more and made sure nobody was on thier way over to him before he disappeared into the dugout. People were really stoked and cheering him on for takin’ the time. It was pretty awesome. People were still yelling thanks to him as he left.
Oh yeah, this was shortly after the all-star game and his popularity/demand for his time was probably at an all time high. Fans were really excited and happy that he took the time.
I heard that he waits to send them back until the holidays so its kind of a “present”
