Why are These Cards a Must Have?: I’ve been doing the hockey definitive list all wrong. So I’m correcting that by working backwards, I know the players better that way. The reason I chose Turris first is because, not only was he the first current player TTM I got back, but he is also one of the most exciting young players playing the game. Last night I watched the Coyotes play the Preds and he scored 2 goals including one unassisted that just looked too easy. So far this season he he has 5 goals/ 6 assists for 11 points. He started off pretty deep in the rotation on the 3rd line, now he is on the 2nd line and when he’s out on the ice, he is always in the middle of the action. I think at some point he is going to be a 80 point a season type player who should have a rather long career.
On a Scale of 1 to 10, How Must Have Are These Cards?: A 7, of this season’s rookie crop, he is one of the most exciting to watch, his cards are going to be valuable some day. You can find these card for between $5 – $35 on eBay (depending on which above card you are looking for).
