Why are these cards must have?: This is another one of those tough ones for me to write. Even though he was a Yankee at one point in his career, I’ll always remember him as a Brave. Now I know I will lose some Braves fan, but in college, I roomed with Super Braves Fan and it was right around the time of Justice’s ROY season, so it was never ending Justice is god speeches. In the end, when he became a Yankee, I couldn’t wait until he was traded.  To sum up his career, he has a Rookie of the Year award, 3 All Star selections, 2 Silver Sluggers, and an ALCS MVP award.  Overall his statline is 0.279/305/1017, he is top 100 all time in slugging %, OPS, and at bats per home run.  Amazing ly he only had a little over 1500 hits.  I say amazingly because I would have thought he would be around the 2000 mark.  He is most compared to the likes of Salmon, Klesko, Dye, and Konerko.  Guys that were big names, but put up ordinary numbers in the end.

Scale of 1 – 10, how must have are these cards: 5, I think he’s really a 3 but I know I’m biased so I made him a 5. He was a very good looking guy, that got a lot of press, but in the end he was a slightly above average player.  The cards run anywhere from $1 – $2 depending on which manufacturer and whether or not it’s graded.
