Why go after this autograph: This was one of the first hockey autograph requests that I sent out. Joe was one of my all time favorite players when he was with Boston. Since his move to San Jose he has become a much more complete player. The Sharks this year, might be one of the best teams I have ever seen. My wife and I try to catch every game on Center Ice and we have yet to see them lose on TV yet. What’s amazing is that he is ony 29 years old and already has 252 goals and 559 assists for a total of 811 points. His career while only about half way over is already a Hall of Fame career. He has been playing since he was 18 so even at 29 he is an 11 year veteran. He is not only a great player on the ice, but he is also very fan friendly off the ice as well, a quick search of the internet yields lots of stories about how great it was to meet him. The sport needs alot more guys like Joe.
Any Current Certified Autographs Available: There are a ton of his autos sitting on eBay and they are so allover the place as far as price goes. I have seen somegot for about 10 dollars, while others go for 100-200 dollars. My advice is to find a card of his you like and send it off as a TTM. It’s only 84 cents.
Nice one. Thorton seems like a real nice guy. I’m not the biggest hockey fan in the world, but have gone to a few Sharks games. Hockey games get going REAl fast sometimes. It really fun to watch in person. Graceful and violent.
