Player Name:Geoff Jenkins

Sets From: 1996  Bowman (plus foil), Bowman’s Best, and Topps

Card Numbers: 24 (foil 24), 136,  and 24

Why are these cards a must have?: He’s not in the price guide with is an absolute farce, because he is just as good as some of the guys on this list.  Geoff was one of my favorite players in the 90s and a staple to most of my fantasy teams in the last decade.  His average for his career is 0.275/27/88.  Now for an outfielder that might seem fairly average, but he did this year after year and was a Brewer’s fan favorite for years.  His resume includes just one All Star selection, but he will always be one of my favorites.  His career numbers are 0.275/221/773 which puts in the same line as guys like Carl Everett, Raul Ibanez, and Torii Hunter.  Like I said not top of the food chain material but definitely deserves to be on this list.

On a scale of 1 – 10, how must have are these cards: 2,one of the more under appeciated players of the late 90s early00s. He deserves a place on this list, his numbers say so.  His cards run in the $1 range in the book and on eBay.

Jenks! I was glad to see him get to win it all last year with philly. Always a stand-up guy and we do miss him here in Milwaukee (not that he’s play in our outfield now, but just in general).
