Why go after this autograph: Growing up in the mid 80s there was no pitching staff I liked more than the Royals. They had Gubicza, Saberhagen, Bud Black, Charlie Liebrandt. They were just fun to watch. Everyone was a Saberhagen fan, but I was a prospector, even back then, so I was drawn to Mark. He had a great first few years of his career. He had six seasons where he won 10 or more games to start his career. He had 2 All Star selections and even finished 3rd in Cy Young voting in 1988. I still have tons of his rookie cards. And he will always be one of my favorite pitchers from that era.
