Why go after this autograph: I followed Gordon through his senior year of college and I can tell you that he is going to become a very solid player in the majors. He should arrive in the bigs by next year and translate into a 0.280/28/80 hitter. Last season, in only 58 at bats, he went 0.310/3/8. Which might not sound like a lot but he did it in the SAL league which is low A and not rookie ball. His senior year at Georgia he went 0.411/28/77 in just 275 at bats. He was a finalist in the Golden Spikes award, and was drafted 8th overall in last year’s draft. Like I said, he is going to be good. On a side note, I love the Go Dawgs inscription.
