So far we are up to the seventh player. I decided to focus on players who have signed first. So I present to you card number 21 of the first 40 picks. I will also create one for the NFL and NHL (after the draft is done). I have been printing these out on cover stock 68lb matte finish with an inkjet. Not too bad when they come out. I even have the word template for printing out so that the front lays on top of the back when printing out. Jiovanni is one of the best high school infielder prospects in the draft. He won’t be in the show until 2012 at the earliest, but he has all the tools, now he just has to grow into his frame.

If you want the template, just email me. Also if you want the full sized images email me as well. At this point I’m not going to make changes unless there is a spelling error, which could have happened since it’s me we are talking about.

One more thing for the stats on the back – I wouldn’t put the 0 before the batting avg – just put .394
These cards look great. I did notice a few grammar issues, if you care. “His ability to drive the ball into the gap, produces…” There is no reason for a comma in this sentence.
Then: “His biggest asset is his speed, he was 18 for 18…”
This is a comma splice, run-on. Either make it two sentences, or go with something like this: “His biggest asset is his speed, going 18 for 18…”
Don’t hate me for being too picky. I’m a literary editor and college writing instructor, and I can’t help but point one of my favorite blog writers in the right grammar direction.
