Bad Wax Presents – 1st Round Draft Pick Cards – Kyle Gibson

Kyle is a Mizzou product and the Twins first round pick in this year’s draft.  His best pitches are the slider and the fastball.  Even though his fastball tops out at around 92 MPH, he makes up for it with a plus slider that looks just like his fastball and deceives a lot of hitters.  He is going to need to correct his mechanics in order to make it to the bigs, but many experts see him as a number 2 pitcher.
