For those of us that live in the Triangle this weekend is the Sports Card and Memorabilia show. Of course in my neck of the woods it’s snowing and the roads by me are crappy thanks to the snow rain snow combination. I am planning on going tomorrow around 11ish and would like to know if anyone else is going that lives in the area. If you do go, I will be wearing a gray jacket and Long Beach State cap. If you see me say hi.

William from foulbunt.blogspot.com said he might be going tomorrow. I plan on going Sunday. We’re snowed in pretty good here in High Point so I figure by Sunday things should be back to normal.
Durham wasn’t too bad, I was going to try to go tomorrow. If the roads suck, it will be Sunday.

Damn…I miss the days of card shows (and shops). It was something my Dad and I would do together every weekend. He take me to our local shop (Dublin/Macon, GA) or if there was a show in the area, we’d drive.
He didn’t care much about sports, but enjoyed the excitement of opening packs to test his luck. My Dad had no idea what he should be looking for so after each pack, he’d hand it to me and ask me to take a look.
Sorry for the ramble. Have fun at the show! And if anyone has a child, take them to buy a few packs.
