Yesterday proved to be a great mail day for me, also got one over the weekend. The first game on Friday, it’s an older Elvis Andrus autograph that I sent summer last year. I used to make these cards on cover stock paper (essentially construction paper). I hate the way they came out but that was all I could do at the time. So I cut the autograph out of the card and made this:
This was sent to the Rangers home office and like I said took about 11 months. The next was a failed attempt at Sam Bradford’s autograph. I did get a rather nice rejection letter and who knows, maybe I will cut out the photocopied signature and encase it as a cut:
This was sent out the day after the draft so about 3 months have past. The card was returned (which was nice), usually they pitch the autograph item. Finally I got another long lost autograph sent out the last week of August last year. It was for Cody Hodgson of the Vancouver Canucks. He even added postage since it had been so long (very nice touch by the way). Again, I put this one at roughly 11 months and it was sent via the Vancouver home office.
I don’t know if I am going to cut the autograph out or not. My gut tells me to do it since it is on that same paper stock as the Elvis Andrus card. I am curious what you think since you have seen both the before cut and after cut pictures.
Finally I want to wish Mrs. Chemgod a Happy Birthday, she is the most understanding wife any man could ever have.

I am not a fan of cut signatures. You have done a great job with the card but the auto is cut off and looks strange if not on a white back ground. Just my opinion.
I think they look amazing LOL if u sell the Elvis look my way
