I don’t know if anyone has said these yet but I thought of a couple more very influential album covers…
The Clash – London Calling, because it shows the irreverance and ferocity of punk music while still paying tribute to the original usurper of societal norms and music, Elvis Pressley.

Pink Floyd – The Dark Side Of The Moon, because it is so simple but very thought provoking. The prism and the rainbow is probably one of the most recognizable album covers of all time.
Definitely doing both of those albums as well as “The Wall” from Pink Floyd, Zepplin 1, and Zoso (Zep 4), I’ll make sure to not only do classic rock, but all genres.
How about Devo’s “Are We Not Men, We Are Devo” album? It’s based on an advertisement featuring Chi Chi Rodriguez so it’s sports related as well. Thanks.
