If you could have a double auto card of any current professional athlete, who would it be? Here is a very preliminary design of mine:
I know I’ll never be able to own autographs of their of these players so I figured I make some dream cards. Quad cut cards are coming soon!

Double auto card is hard for me to decide on. My two favorite players overall are Gwynn and Ryan, but a card with both doesn’t make much sense. How about a Canseco/McGwire? (Or along those lines, McGwire/Sosa, McGwire/Bonds, etc.) Actually, I’d like a Smoltz/Maddux dual auto – or if I could have it, Smoltz, Maddux, Glavine, and Steve Avery. Not exactly dual. But while I’m being “extravagant” I’d take “team” autos of the ’89 A’s, ’95 Braves, and ’10 Giants. Roger Craig/Bruce Bochy dual auto? Why not… Or LaRussa/Cox/Bochy? I was going to do a quad auto (2 front and two back) of the four horsemen, the braves staff (that you mentioned) and one for the biggest juicers (Bonds, Canseco, McGwire and Palmeiro).
what do you think?
I agree with Ryan that a Canseco/McGwire would be a nice double auto.
Maybe Zito/Mulder/Hudson for my triple…or maybe Frank Baker/Sal Bando/Eric Chavez. Some kind of team lineage at the same position.
Continuing the team/position lineage theme I’d take Stuffy McInnis/Jimmy Foxx/Mark McGwire/Daric Barton for the quad.
As a diehard Phillies fan, I’d love a Four Aces card (which Topps will probably do, actually), featuring Halladay, Lee, Oswalt and Hamels.
Maybe a “Juicy Juicers” or “Interleague Indictments” card with Bonds and Clemens autos.
