I apologize for the lack of posts. I had finals for the last week and a half. And if you’re a former or current student, you know that means you don’t actually take time to study for finals, but tell others that you have finals in order to defer on other responsibilities.

I’ve been trying to sell some of my cards on eBay. The items I’m selling are either from sets that I’ve decided I don’t really want to collect or doubles from various years.

I have a great surplus of Series 1 from 2006 and have been marketing them at 25 or 30 card lots at a time with one or two stars thrown in and no doubles. Some other cards I’ve tried selling by themselves, but I feel as if I’m ripping off people if I charge them $1.25 (including shipping) for one card when they’re more than half way to purchasing a new pack.

Personally, I’m more inclined to go for lots of cards from sets that I collect. Two weeks ago I bought 100 Topps 1990 singles for $.99. I like taking the chance that there may be something good in there.

I’ve found that at garage sales and flea markets you’re more likely to find singles more so than lots or assembled decks and the prices tend to be lower.

Know that studying feeling well. Promotional exam in 2 weeks. When that’s over with, I’m also going to try and sell some dupes on the bay. Would rather trade them, but there isn’t much of a market for 1992 Triple Play and 1990 Score.
