I’m looking forward to starting on the set. Like you, I want to hear some feedback from the other bloggers on who/what you would like to see. And you can be sure Griffey will be one of the Reds in the set.

Additions to consider for the Chi Sox.
A.J. Pierzynski, Nick Swisher, Ehren Wassermann, Mark Buehrle, Scott Linebrink, Orlando Cabrera, Carlos Quentin.
Any cards of future stars would possibly include:
Jack Egbert, Oneli Perez, Alexei Ramirez (depending on where he starts out), Cole Armstrong.
Great idea and a great start!

I posted a little teaser in the forums…
How about some Reds from the 70’s and 80’s with bad airbrushed pics? Pete in a Phillies uni and bad hair suddenly is a Red with bad hair. Bench in a 1977 St. Paddy’s day green uni?
Julio Franco - the immortal one.
Great list for the Braves, but I’d like to Brian McCann if there’s any room for him in the set. If you’re doing any “Future Stars” cards Jordan Schafer is considered to be the Braves’ next great center fielder.
You could add Yunel Escobar for the Braves too!
Red Sox 2007 WS studs Josh Beckett and Mike Lowell would not be bad additions.
Just a quick update…I’m about 40 cards into the set (fronts only). I’m combining some (remember Fleer’s “Superstar Specials” and “Major League Prospects”?) so the card count does not go too high. I doubt they will be ready by Opening Day, but we’ll see.
I’d like to see another Oriole or two in there. Maybe Adam Jones or Jeremy Guthrie?
How about a Sammy Sosa Orioles card, or Tejada? And how about a Billy Crystal Yankees card? And there definetely needs to be a Manny and/or Ortiz card in there for the Sox. Maybe a “Red Sox Leaders” card?
Hey guys, I’m working a bunch of overtime, so there is no way this set is going to be ready by Opening Day. I’m definitely taking all the comments into consideration. Some of the players are being combined on cards (like Fleer’s SuperStar Specials and Topps’ Leage Leaders), so we can probably fit most of the suggestions into the set. Just know that it will be a little delayed.
